Where can I sleep in Thanh Kim ?

The newly developed Topas Ecolodge is located 18 km from Sapa in Thanh Kim, deep in the Hoang Lien Mountains. The 25 lodges overlook the entire valley with the ethnic minority villages of Ban Ho and Than Phu 400 altitude meters below you. A journey will start from Hanoi with the soft sleeper night train to Lao Cai then take you to the mountain town of Sapa(1550 m) and then straight to Thanh Kim village. All together a journey of 2 hours. At the Ecolodge breakfast will be ready for you in the restaurant and your private bungalow will be available for you to discover Thanh Kim area.

Local people and environment in Thanh Kim ?

The Topas Ecolodge is based on ecological principles from Thanh Kim. They have implemented a wastewater facility to avoid pollution of the local area of Thanh Kim. And all this is designed to ensure that the Lodge has a minimum impact on the surrounding environment. They employ local people from Thanh Kim and use local products and goods, in order to bring economic benefits to the local community of Thanh Kim.
